All these reviews saying its unstable and tilts to one side etc honestly just didn't follow directions. There's multiple things you have to do to secure it and make it stable but once you do its not shaky or anything at all. The mattress is better than most others, while still being thin enough to be safe. (trust me, this is our third bassinet in less than a month..) The biggest thing for us is our baby FINALLY sleeps on it. Every other one he would scream and fuss and fidget and this one he seems comfortable enough to settle down and we get a couple hours stretch at a time. The only thing I don't like is the mattress cover isn't removeable/washable and trying to find sheets for it is a little tough. We also really like that its bigger than a standard bassinet yet smaller than a pack and play which allows him to stay in it longer but also not take up as much room as a pack and play.
