These are soooo adorable. I had been looking at them for quite some time because I really needed bedside lamps to replace my lovely little touch lamps that, while beautiful, were useless for reading in bed. I had been avoiding bedside lamps because I hadn't the design room for anything large or heavy. These lamps completely fill the bill for me both in the fact that they are light in size and the design fits in with both my interior design and art. Assembling is quick and simple. I included several photos of one of the lamps in order to display it with different lighting options. The gentleman lamp is residing comfortably on the other side of the bed. And as for the cord that so many people have mentioned, I merely wrapped it around one side of the head of the figure which solved any problem and also enabled the on/off switch to be easy access. I jumped on this when it was on Black Friday sale, but even well worth it at full price.
