Lamps are fine, I'm pleased, however they came with the shades unassembled. They were not too difficult to put together, but, had the description said they needed assembly I don't know that I would have ordered them.The lampshades start out as tightly rolled paper, which, using at least three hands, you stick around the bottom rim, then deftly hold partially in place while you then balance and align the top rim and stick the other edge of the roll of paper to that while maKing sure that the paper stuck to the bottom rim stays in place, which it doesn't. Tedious, fiddly, and not worth it.Excellent. Classic design, good weight. And a three way switch. Happy with purchase.I didn't want to spend this much on paired lamp shades, but when I saw them online, I had to get them. They aren't super expensive for the quality at all, I just didn't want to spend more than $25-$30 a piece. But I'm glad I decided to get this pair. They look super expensive & I have smaller end tables so the fact that the base is relatively on the smaller side, I am a fan.
